2025 Yearbook

In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire.

Our 2025 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.

Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.

The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

Your stories

I started working for LCC in Dec 2024 and in 2025 I successfully passed my probation! I continue to work at Colne Library where I love everything about the job; most of all I love the people I work alongside, they have supported me throughout the year and my success is down to them, thank you. I really enjoy coming into work and working for the people of Lancashire. I have come to know that our customers love libraries and it makes my time spent in Colne and often in Nelson, really worthwhile experiences. Long may LCC support libraries. Thank you.

A good team effort to support pan Lancashire District Community Safety Partnerships with their Statutory Duties under the 1998 Crime & Disorder Act to develop and produce their Community Safety and Serious Violence Duty Plans.

I just want to give a big shout-out to the Care Navigation Homecare East Team—Susan Blackwell, John Rowan, Chelsea Brimage, Sarah Bench and Catherine Watkiss. The team has been a tremendous source of support for me as I stepped into my first LCC management role as your interim team leader. You’ve all been amazing this year, showing real teamwork and resilience. I also want to extend my thanks, on behalf of myself and the team, to Lauren Coulton and Lauren Slater for stepping in during times of staff shortages. Your support has been invaluable, and we really appreciate the effort you’ve put in. This year has thrown plenty of changes and challenges our way, and through it all, you’ve kept things running smoothly, supporting our colleagues and making sure the people of Lancashire are safe and cared for. Thank you everyone!!!!!!
