2025 Yearbook
In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire.
Our 2025 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.
Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.
The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

I wanted to acknowledge the Resilience Team to give them the praise and recognition they deserve for being unwaveringly dedicated, hard-working and loyal. They go-above-and-beyond as standard and come together as a real-team and welcomed our new colleagues with open arms. Here's to 2026 :)

Its been a year of big changes for our team, previously known as the VIP team. We have worked hard alongside the Change Team and IT to help get the Enquiries system up and running as smoothly as possible, along with a change of Directorate and Manager. Its been very challenging at times but we have made it through, lets see what 2026 brings!

Many thanks to all the senior managers, business support, warehouse team and teachers at Lancashire Music Service. Its been another incredible year for the service , including 'rolling out' the new Mobile Music Vehicle, seeing more young people getting involved in bands and orchestras after school and at play days across the county, national awards for our Technology strategy an an invite to Westminster by Sir Lindsay Hoyle to showcase the outstanding and innovative work the service is doing across Lancashire. Well done everyone and have a great Christmas break. Best wishes, Tim Rogers

Thank You for an Outstanding Year A huge thank you to the Scientific Services Team for your incredible hard work and dedication this year. Lancashire County Scientific Services has had a fantastic year thanks to your professionalism and expertise. We’ve received excellent feedback in the annual customer satisfaction survey and proudly maintained our UKAS accreditation for 37 years. These achievements reflect the vital work you do every day, delivering accurate analytical results, supporting food, feed and water safety, maintaining closed landfill sites, delivering asbestos services, and providing the technical assurance that underpins the Council’s statutory responsibilities. We don’t often blow our own trumpet, but we should be proud of the role we play in protecting public health and keeping Lancashire safe. It’s a privilege to work alongside such a brilliant, responsive team. Thank you for making this year a success. Here’s to continuing that momentum into the year ahead!

I would like to recognise the work of the Accommodation Team, part of Facilities Management. This year they have delivered a wide range of projects to help support services and our property strategy principles. This includes service relocations, workspace reconfigurations to support changing service delivery need and project managing closures when buildings are identified as surplus. Alongside these projects the team have also resolved over 630 support requests from around the county. Last year we provided 790 items of furniture to support service delivery need which were all repurposed through our project programme. These items, if purchased new, would have cost services over £100,000. The dedication of the team is amazing, and they are committed to delivering to a high standard. They do all this while maintaining a cohesive and supportive team ethic and even manage to retain a good sense of humour even at the busiest of times! Thank you.

I would like to say a big Thank You to our Hilltop Lodge Team, RCCW's and Deputy Managers... You’ve all shown incredible care and commitment this year, even during times of change while the registered manager was on maternity leave. Because of your hard work, our children have felt safe, happy, and supported every single day. We’re proud that Ofsted recognised this by giving Hilltop a GOOD rating which was so well deserved. You’ve helped a young person stay connected to their family after being near edge of care, and that’s life-changing. Your kindness, courage, and dedication make Hilltop a truly special place. Thank you for making our home outstanding – YOU make the difference for our children, thank you :-)
