2025 Yearbook
In our busy work lives, we spend a lot of time looking towards the coming weeks and months ahead, without much time to reflect on what we have worked on. As we start preparing for the new year, it's great to look back and reflect on the amazing work and progress achieved in the past year, for both yourself and the residents of Lancashire.
Our 2025 Yearbook gives you the opportunity to do just that.
Whether this is recognising your own personal development and success, celebrating the work of your colleagues, or even just saying thank you to someone, our Yearbook is for you to comment on what has made you feel proud this year.
The Yearbook is accessible to everyone who works at Lancashire County Council. To submit a comment of recognition, please enter your details below.

Your stories
As we come to the end of the year, I want to take a moment to thank everyone in the team. Your hard work, dedication, and unwavering support have made a tremendous difference—not just in achieving our goals, but in creating a positive and collaborative environment that truly stands out. We support the three largest services and this year has brought its challenges, and yet you have consistently shown resilience, commitment, and teamwork. Every effort you’ve put in, big or small, has contributed to our success, and I couldn’t be prouder to work alongside such an incredible team. Thank you for going above and beyond, for supporting one another, and for making this team what it is. I hope you take time to reflect on all you’ve accomplished and feel proud of the impact you’ve made. Wishing you all a wonderful festive season and let's make it another successful year!

I would like to show appreciation to my colleagues throughout the CYJS but especially the P&D team who have pushed through with a drastically reduced team due to maternity and sick leave. We have all worked super hard under our temporary manager Meg Tudor and still managed to provide the best support to children and families. Well done team!!!

Well done IRMS on another fantastic year. You are always striving to do the best we can as a team and your commitment and enthusiasm makes a great difference. It has been a difficult year at times as we lost a very dear colleague and friend, and other colleagues left for retirement and new pastures but new colleagues joined us and we faced challenge and new opportunities together as one. Have a lovely Christmas everyone and here's to 2026!!

I would like to thank the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team. 2025 has been an incredible year for us, marked by proactive and preventative work that has made a real difference. Some of our key achievements include creating a Hydration Strategic Plan to promote the benefits of staying hydrated and it's role in reducing certain infections. We launched 'Bug Busters', an interactive awareness session designed for primary school children to instil good IPC habits early. We also hosted our first IPC Care Champions Day, sharing knowledge and resources with champions working across adult social care. In additional, we strengthened our engagement with domiciliary care providers and delivered IPC awareness sessions to college students. Our team continually analyses outbreak data across Lancashire, using themes and trends to develop new training. Well done IPC Team – you are all fantastic. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and enjoy a well-earned break.
