Our very popular "24 Hours in Leadership" conference for 2024 aims to inspire school leaders to consider how they create learning opportunities that are designed not just to impart knowledge, but also to engage, inspire and make teachers and children think.

This year we are looking forward to welcoming keynote speakers from Paul Dix's "When the adults change…", providing leading-edge thinking on relational practice. We are also excited to welcome Adriane Bethune who will be sharing 'the science of happiness' with us. Our after-dinner speaker, this year, will be Tony Packwood, who in his time, has been a sports coach, youth worker, drugs counsellor, PE Teacher and Deputy Headteacher.'

"24 Hours…" will help you plan the best way forward, with built-in reflection, review and planning time for you and senior leaders to work together as well as network with other school leaders

The conference runs from lunchtime on Thursday 27th June until lunchtime on Friday 28th June 2024. All meals and overnight accommodation are included. Each keynote speaker will last for approximately 3 hours.
The remainder of the time can be used flexibly to meet the needs of the delegates. Some leaders choose to spend this time on school-related strategic planning and preparation and others enjoy simply chatting, engaging in dialogue with colleagues or having some personal, reflective or 'quiet' time.
The hotel's leisure facilities are available to resident delegates (some of these facilities will incur an additional charge).
