This course aims to equip subject leaders and teachers with a range of practical and engaging spoken language strategies, to underpin reading and writing approaches.

Drawing on the impact of the Talk Programmes across Key Stages 1 and 2, and the recent Ofsted research report 'Telling the Story', this course will include a range of strategies and approaches for use in English and across the curriculum focusing on key learning in:

* speaking
* Standard English
* vocabulary
* participating, presenting and performing.
