This package programme is aimed at schools who use the synthetic systematic phonics programme -Red Rose Letters and Sounds in Reception and Y1.

Following a hugely successful roll-out of the programme in 2023-2024, the Primary English and Literacy Team at Lancashire Professional Development Service are delighted to share a comprehensive daily spelling programme based on the National Curriculum requirements for spelling in Y2. This planning programme has been developed, continuously evaluated and refined, using the expertise of phonics and spelling experts at LPDS and feedback from Y2 practitioners in schools.

The package cost is £430 and includes CPD for one full day and two half days, and the planning programme for two delegates.

The planning programme includes a yearly progression of the curriculum for Y2 Spelling, half termly overviews, daily planning, word banks, and games and activities. Guidance for implementation is also included.
