This course will :
• provide teachers/teaching assistants with an overview of the statutory requirements for the EYFS with a specific focus on nursery;
• provide an opportunity for delegates to familiarise themselves with the key messages outlined in the statutory framework, including the importance of learning through play, working with parents, providing outdoor learning opportunities, key person, safeguarding, etc; and
• reflect on the key elements of developing effective provision in a nursery class.
