To provide a bank of 5 minute staff well-being activities designed to boost self-confidence, foster achievement and contribute to overall success.
To explore techniques that enhance staff well-being focusing on building resilience and coping skills in both children and adults.

During the morning Jason Bangbala, key note speaker will share a toolkit of simple, practical, and realistic strategies to de-escalate & diffuse challenging behaviour effectively and non-confrontationally. Jason's session will encourage staff to reflect on their response to behaviour, exploring how they can plan and teach good behaviour for learning in our schools.
Two Lancashire primary schools will share their approaches in supporting their pupils with self regulation to secure positive improvements in whole school behaviour.
During the afternoon there will be two workshops, one to explore sensory circuits to support pupil self-regulation and one to promote staff well-being.
Sensory Circuits to Support Pupil Self-Regulation: In this workshop Honor Coombs will help you to identify those pupils whose sensory needs can present as disruptive influence within the classroom. You will leave with a simple identification tool along with examples of ten minute circuits that provide individuals with the sensations they are seeking.
Staff Well Being: Consultants Jess Squires and Jen Macdonald will provide ways to improve staff mood quickly and easily, both psychologically and physiologically, taking staff through a range of well-being activities that can be taken back and shared in schools.
