- To consider why supporting children to recall information is important.
- To explore effective strategies for knowledge recall.
- To consider practical methods to create Knowledge Organisers and integrate these into classroom practice.

Used appropriately, knowledge organisers can help with the retention of key facts and information making it easier for children to know and understand the key learning. This new course will support schools to consider what the purpose is of a knowledge organiser, what type of content should be included and practical strategies to embed the use in the classroom in order to have maximum impact. We will look at examples of knowledge organisers for different subjects and the types of information that can be included to support knowledge being transferred from short term memory to long term memory.
