When you deposit your waste, ownership of it passes to Lancashire County Council. Any items deposited may be retained for reuse or recycling in order to reduce what is sent for disposal.

7 days a week - 9am-5pm.

Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

Access Policy

Please be aware of our Access Policy if delivering waste in a van or using a trailer.

All of our permit schemes are currently suspended.

All vans and trailers (including single axle trailers) must make an appointment to visit a recycling centre. An appointment is for a van or a trailer - not both. A van can be used to tow a trailer, but waste will not be accepted from both.

The centre is most conveniently accessed from the A585 Amounderness Way by turning into the B5268 Fleetwood Road at its roundabout junction. The recycling centre is located on Jameson Road, which is on the left hand side after turning onto the B5268.
