Coronavirus - disruption to services

This site is open for essential visits. From Monday 6th July cars no longer need an appointment to visit. From Friday 10th July vans and vehicles with trailers can visit by appointment only. The booking system for vans and trailers will go live on Monday 6th July.

The centre is accessed from the A6 Scotland Road between Junction 35a of the A601 (M) and the transport service area.

Permit scheme

This recycling centre operate an access policy and permit scheme which restricts use of the sites by certain large vehicles and trailers.

If you are wishing to deposit inert waste at any of our recycling centres you need to obtain a permit in advance of your visit. If you do not wish to obtain an Inert Waste permit you have the option of using the 'option to pay' service at the recycling centres.
