Phonics Tracker was designed by teachers for teachers in order to simplify the assessment of phonics. It instantly records whether a child can successfully pronounce the phoneme or word correctly.
Results can be recorded on a class or set basis and the reports produced show results by objective and pupil so that teachers can clearly see which children are achieving at every stage.
With pie charts for every phoneme and every child, teachers can identify the phonics gaps in their class and tailor their lessons for their class’ needs.
Snapshots are taken of the school’s assessments so that you’ll be able to track a child’s phonic progress over time and identify whether interventions are working for children with special educational needs. The progress is recorded on a line graph.
Our Homework sheets provide objectives to allow parents to become an integral part of their child’s learning. These can be printed off on a child or class basis and Phonics Tracker will produce an individual sheet of phonemes a child needs to learn to take home and practise.
