Sue Dean Writing Award
Sue Dean (Senior Teaching and Learning Consultant for English and Literacy) sadly passed away in 2017. Sue became a consultant with Lancashire in 2002 and led the team for over ten years. Her knowledge and passion for the subject was apparent to anyone who ever met her, and she inspired countless teachers in Lancashire and beyond to support children in meeting their potential.
To continue her legacy, Lancashire Professional Development Service have founded the Sue Dean Writing Award. This award is for children who have made significant progress in writing throughout the academic year.
