1. Overview
The aim of early years pupil premium funding is to narrow the development and attainment gap and to support disadvantaged children to reach their potential.
Funding rate
The EYPP is an additional 66p per hour per child, which equates to £376.20 per year if a child takes up their full 15 hours (universal hours) early education funding entitlement.
EYPP funding applies to the 15 universal hours only.
