Collecting the gift

Following receipt of the claim form, a purchase order form will be completed and sent to the shop/retailer. The employee will receive a letter with a copy of the order form enclosed. The Council will then pay the value of the award direct to the retailer on receipt of an invoice.

On receiving the copy order form - employee should:

  • Share contact details with the vendor and instruct the vendor to contact them directly once they are in a position to complete the order
  • Collect the gift once advised to do so
  • Pay any difference in price (if applicable)
