When you deposit your waste, ownership of it passes to Lancashire County Council. Any items deposited may be retained for reuse or recycling in order to reduce what is sent for disposal.

7 days a week 9am to 5pm.

Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

Access Policy

Please be aware of our Access Policy if delivering waste in a van or using a trailer.

All of our permit schemes are currently suspended.

All vans and trailers (including single axle trailers) must make an appointment to visit a recycling centre. An appointment is for a van or a trailer - not both. A van can be used to tow a trailer, but waste will not be accepted from both.

Directions

The centre is located on Clough End Road right at the top of the hill. Turn into Clough End Road at the traffic lights on the A680 Blackburn Road.
