Lancashire parking services are responsible for some of the county's residents' parking schemes.

We currently operate residents' parking schemes throughout the county. Further information about each of the schemes we operate is below:

If you  are applying for a change of vehicle permit in the Preston area do not apply online as you will be charged. Instead you should return your old permit and an application form (DOCX / PDF) for a new permit to the address below.

Please note – if you are a permit holder in the St Mark's area of Preston you will be unable to apply for a permit at this moment in time however your current permit will remain valid until you are contacted by the council.

Additionally, if you live in the Balfour Road area (QR1) please do not apply for a permit, the scheme is currently not enforceable and as such a permit is not required until you are contacted by the council.

Residents (and where applicable, businesses) who are eligible to apply for a permit, should send an application by post, along with the relevant supporting evidence to:
