Benefits

Normally you are not entitled to benefits until you are 18. However, under exceptional circumstances, for example when young people no longer live with their parents/carers, are parents themselves or have a long term disability, young people aged 16 and 17 may be receive some benefits.

You are not alone. Many young people may need help when dealing with difficult times in their lives.
