Service update

From Monday 6 July 2026, changes will come into effect to the Lancaster Park and Ride bus service frequency and fares.

Service frequency

From the first bus on Monday 6 July 2026, the service will operate less frequently during the day, running up to every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday..  The first and last bus times will remain unchanged.

Fares

From 6 July 2026, fares will be revised.  The flat day return fare will be £2.50.  Group tickets, weekly tickets and concessions will continue to apply.  

• Adult day return: £2.50
• Child day return: £1.25
• Adult weekly unlimited: £10.00

Family group day return: £6.50
Up to 5 adults travelling together in the same vehicle

Concessions: Free after 9.30am
Before 9:30am on Monday-Friday full adult fare applies.

Stops and route

There will be no changes to the route.  The Park and Ride service will continue to operate between the Park and Ride site, Lancaster City Centre and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary
