Cycling and bikeability
Lancashire County Council has been awarded a further grant for Bikeability 2025-2026.
Here in Lancashire we had another hugely successful year for Bikeability in 2024-25 with a 94% reach and providing training for 14714 Year 6 pupils. The 2024-25 Impact Report has been published by the Bikeability Trust, Beyond the School Gates, along with the 2024–25 Delivery Statistics.
Lancashire County Council has been congratulated by the Bikeability Trust as it is again one of the Top 10 best-performing LHAs, leading the charge in reaching the most children.
This grant funds Bikeability cycle training across the county. If you already receive Bikeability delivery at your school this should continue.
If your school hasn't received any Bikeability training in the last 12 months please get in touch with either the road safety team or your provider directly.
