• To have a deeper understanding of young children's early Speech, Language and Communication development, with a particular focus on listening and attention.

•To support the identification of pupils having difficulty with Listening and Attention skills, receptive and expressive language skills.

•To develop a range of practical strategies and activities to support children with these difficulties and how these can be incorporated into continuous provision and 1:1/small group activities .
