A termly update to enable Science Subject Leaders to be informed and updated on current issues in primary science
To support the Science Subject Leader with specific aspects of their role
To explore ways of continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning in Science
To provide engaging and interesting ideas to teach the science curriculum

These meetings are intended to keep the subject leader updated with the latest information about Ofsted, national updates, publications and fresh ideas to take back to school to support teaching, learning and assessment. There will be opportunities within each session for teachers to share good practice and to raise issues that are pertinent to their school situation. Course participants will be provided with a download pack of resources which will include a PowerPoint presentation of the key messages which can be used for staff meeting updates and CPD back in school.

There will be meetings each term with a different focus at each one. Each session must be booked individually and it is advised subject leaders attend all sessions to ensure they are fully up to date with developments in their subject.
