Course Aims:
Develop teacher confidence of how to establish a safe learning environment for pupils and staff and understand the principles of effective PSHE classroom practice
Provide opportunities for exploring how personal values may impact upon the teaching of this subject
Develop the confidence and skills to deliver this subject effectively, especially aspects requiring sensitive handling
Increase confidence when choosing quality resources with which to deliver lessons effectively and meet the needs of learners
Gain an understanding of different ways to assess PSHE Education to demonstrate individual progress

This course is aimed ay any practitioner who has been given the role of teaching PSHE education to pupils and will cover key principles on how to tackle topics of a sensitive nature safely.
