- To review how to create and sequence learning objectives
- To consider how to use success criteria effectively to support the learning process
- To consider how learning objectives and success criteria inform lesson structure and learning outcomes

This course will examine the place of clear learning objectives and success criteria when planning focused teaching which is learning-led rather than activity-led. It will consider what makes an effective learning objective and a range of approaches for using success criteria to support independent learning. This will include examining the co-construction of success criteria.
