- To consider different elements and models of classroom design and organisation and how these impact on learning
- To consider the importance of tidy organised classrooms for learning
- To explore the key elements of effective display to stimulate, prompt and celebrate learning - including the effective management of Working Walls
- To consider how the above impacts on children's learning and supports them in becoming independent learners

The classroom environment can have a significant impact on children's behaviour, cognitive load and learning. This course will give an opportunity to reflect on how classrooms are organised and mangaged to stimulate and support learning and develop children's independence.

There will be opportunities to consider how to develop effective displays and manageable Working Walls to stimulate, prompt and celebrate learning.

Delegates will be shown a range of examples to prompt discussion and share ideas.
