• To help schools ensure that they provide high quality support for their EAL pupils who are not making expected progress
• To provide participants with a toolkit of strategies, resources and ideas which they can use to support the progress of EAL learners in their schools and help them identify special need
• To help school to identify EAL learners with different types of SEN and disabilities

This session is based on our 'EAL or SEN? Language barrier or learning need?' toolkit, providing schools with a guide to help them ensure that EAL learners in their school receive the necessary support to make progress and fulfil their potential. The toolkit contains a comprehensive set of strategies and resources that you can apply in your school; these will be given free to participants

Participants will also receive a pack of resources to take away which outline helpful strategies to support EAL learners with a variety of SEN and disabilities.
