Chorley Rural West - Results

Friday, 15 September 2023

A by-election for the Chorley Rural West electoral division was held on 14 September 2023. The result of the by-election (declared Friday 15 September 2023) saw the Labour candidate, Alan Whittaker elected with 1,642 votes (51.9%).

The result of the Chorley Rural West by-election changed the political composition of the county council to: Conservative 48 (down 1), Labour 32 (up 1), Liberal Democrats 2, Green 1, Vacancy 1.
