    1.Priority will be given to Baptised Catholic looked children or a child       who was previously looked after but immediately after being looked       after became subject to an adoption, child arrangement order, or           special guardianship order or those children who appear to the               school to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to         be in state care as a result of being adopted.

  1. Roman Catholic children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of admission and resident in the parish of St. Wilfrid’s.
  2. Other Roman Catholic children who are resident in the parish of St. Wilfrid’s.
  3. Roman Catholic children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of admission and are resident in another parish.
  4. Roman Catholic children resident in another parish.
  5. Priority will be given to all other children who are looked children or a child who was previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangement order, or special guardianship order or those children who appear to the school to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
  6. Any non-Roman Catholic Children with siblings at the school.
  7. Any other children.

If in any category there are more applications than places available, priority will be given on the basis of distance from home to school by a straight line measure. Measurement will be from the centre of the school building to the centre of the applicant's home address. In the event of a tied measurement between address points the Local Authority’s system of a random draw will determine which address(es) receive the offer(s).
