The actions of schools to support good transition from Y6 to Y7 has never been more important. This document poses questions and offers some guidance on how schools can work to make transition for these students as effective as possible.

Case Studies from Lancashire Secondary Schools - Transition Models 2020
The following document provide outline details of how four secondary schools are approaching year 6 to 7 transition during the lockdown. In particular:
• How they are trying to ensure effective communication with feeder primary schools.
• What is being organised this term or during the summer closure to replace or adapt the usual events and wider provision around transition.
