Report a pothole

The quickest and easiest way to report a pothole is via the Love Clean Streets mobile app. 

You can report a pothole if it meets our required level for work:

• 40mm deep or over if on a road
• 25mm deep or over if on a footway (pavement) or crossing

Reports will be assessed and those that do not meet the required level may not be actioned. 

Report It online

Before you start you will need to register for an account with Love Clean Streets, using an email address and password, if you haven't already done so. 

You will then be asked to provide:

• the location of the pothole
• a description
• a photograph - max 4mb limit (optional - only take a photo if safe to do so)

Start your report

Select the type of fault you are reporting below: 

Road pothole 40mm to 99mm depth

Road pothole 100mm or greater depth

Multiple road potholes at the same location

Footway pothole 25mm to 75mm depth

Footway pothole greater than 75mm depth

How we assess potholes

Please allow up to 2 working days for us to assess a pothole.

We will then aim to repair potholes which meet required levels for work within 20 working days. See information on required levels for work and response times.
