Report gritting (winter service)
The quickest and easiest way to request a refill, repair or new grit bin is via the Love Clean Streets mobile app.

We only provide grit bins at locations on minor roads that are not on the priority road network.
We fill grit bins before the start of winter and aim to refill them as often as we can. Requests for refills will only be considered after we have gritted our priority and secondary routes.
Requests for new grit bins are assessed against set criteria.
Report It online
Before you start you will need to register for an account with Love Clean Streets, using an email address and password, if you haven't already done so.
You will then be asked to provide:
- the location of the grit bin
- a description
- a photograph - max 4mb limit (optional - only take a photo if safe to do so)

We are not able to consider additional requests for gritting and we are open about the fact we cannot grit every road in Lancashire. We have identified our priority and secondary routes, which help to keep the county moving.
