Reduced evening fares
You can currently travel on any bus in Lancashire for £1 for any journey, after 7pm, 7 days a week.
This offer is not available on Blackpool Transport services.
Reduced Sunday fares
On Sundays and bank holidays you can travel for just £1 all day on any bus in Lancashire.
This scheme is funded by the Local Authority Bus Grant.
£3 single bus fare cap
Most bus operators in Lancashire, including those providing services on behalf of Lancashire County Council, will offer a maximum fare of £3 for any single journey until 31 March 2027. Some local bus fares may be less than £3.
From 1 January 2026, Preston Bus will not take part in the £3 fare cap. This affects commercial services 6, 8, 16, 19/19A, 23, 31 (Monday - Saturday daytime) and 35. Preston Bus services run on behalf of Lancashire County Council will continue to offer single fares up to a maximum of £3.
School only buses are excluded from the scheme.
