Community multi agency events

Why not pop down and meet your friendly Road Safety Team at one of the following great events in Lancashire this term:

7th June - Alive to Drive, Leyland Tesco. A multi-agency event featuring Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service undertaking a car cutting and extraction simulation in addition to a host of other road safety displays and information from a number of road safety partners.

8th June - Cleveleys Car Show, Cleveleys Promenade. Have a go on our new VR simulation goggles, learn about the effects and consequences of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol/drugs, try our 1-unit game or learn how to maintain your vehicle to keep yourself and others safe or try our quick quiz to test your road safety knowledge. In addition, there will be information and free resources on child car seats, safe cycling and pedestrian safety.

14th June - Travel for Life Older Road Users Workshop, Whalley Methodist Church. Drop in to find out about how to stay safe whilst driving in later years. This session offers facts and advice on topics including; driving and medication, physical health and eyesight, distractions and more!

18th- 20th July - Royal Lancashire Show (Our input here is TBC).
