SDQ in action
Objectives
By the end of the day, participants will:
identify, assess, interpret, and plan support for children and young people using the SDQ
understand trauma-informed practice and relational approaches, and how these link to the SDQ
reflect on the impact of trauma and ACEs on development and wellbeing
understand the school’s responsibilities for mental health and wellbeing
use outcome measures to gain deeper insight into a child’s needs at 1:1, group, or whole-school level
implement the SDQ in a school setting
confidently interpret results and scores, and begin personalising support, interventions, strategies, and action plans
Delivery method
This training will take place in person at County Hall and is a full day training.
