Who is this course for?

The course is aimed at Users of Finance 6 who have an understanding of finance used in a central operation.

This course is only available to those schools who have been given permission to convert from being A Central School to becoming A Bank Account School.

This course will guide you through the steps you need to consider and apply when converting from central (non-bank account) to external (bank account) FMS functionality. We will be informed of your conversion by the above team and will send you the link to apply.

Aims

To learn how to convert from central (non- bank account) to external (bank account) FMS functionality

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• know how to ensure that FMS is configured for bank payments
• Process cheque/BACS payments
• process cash book journals
• process non-invoice income via the bank
• complete bank reconciliation on FMS
• produce necessary reports relating to the bank
