Aims

This half day course enables people to learn and understand how to use the unconscious mind as a resource for change and how to create and implement a visualisation that will empower greater self-confidence in a specific context.

Anticipated benefits include understanding how to use visualisation to feel more confident, comfortable, and effective in any situation. All grades of staff can attend this course as the skills can be utilised in support of anyone who feels they will benefit from a greater sense of confidence in any challenging situation.

Objectives

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand how our unconscious mind consistently affects self-confidence and self-esteem in whatever we undertake.
• Demonstrate how our unconscious mind is strongly influenced by what we say and think about.
• Implement specific visualisation skills to empower greater confidence in any context or situation.
• Explore the practical application of these skills through a series of experiential learning activities.
