Aims

To develop the skills and confidence of experienced LCC employees to provide quality mentoring support to colleagues within the work environment.

Objectives

At the end of the course participants will be able to:
• Define the role of a mentor
• State the skills required to be an effective mentor
• Explain the value of mentoring to individuals and the wider service
• Review their own unique experiences and qualities that they have to offer as a mentor
