Who is this course for?

This course is for existing MS Excel Users who already know how to use Functions but wish to further their skills to the advanced level.  This is a Level 3 course.

Aim(s)

This course provides the skills and knowledge to use conditional functions (plural) to analyse and retrieve information from data based on specific criteria and using nested functions.

Objectives

List no more than 6 learning outcomes using bullet points.

·       Work with the logical (IF) conditional functions; Ifs, CountIfs, SumIfs and AverageIfs (plural)

·       Utilising IF(and  -  IF(or

·       Use of Conditional with Functions

Participants should be comfortable using a computer, to be able to navigate around the screen, work with folders and files, use the taskbar and manage the mouse.  All Microsoft courses are recommended that you use a mouse and not the trackball facility that is available on the laptop.

For Virtual Training you will need to be familiar with using Microsoft Teams Meetings, work with the Windows Taskbar, to be able to switch applications and to access files and folders in File Explorer. 

All prospective participants will be asked to complete the mandatory pre-requisite Skills Checklist, which will be sent out four weeks prior to the course date.  Confirmation of a place on the course will be subject to the Trainer's assessment of the data provided on the checklist. You will not hear from the Trainer unless they deem that you have not met the skills required for this course.
