Who is this course for?

This course is for participants who would like to manipulate and analyse data using some of the functionalities available within MS Excel.  This is a level 1 course

Aim(s)

This course provides the skills and knowledge to be able to manipulate and manage data within a worksheet using techniques other than functions and formulas.

Objectives

·       Sort and filter data

·       Work with Advanced Filters

·       Use Subtotals to summarise different groups of data

·       Working with Pivot Tables

·       Link Excel to Word

Participants should be comfortable using a computer, to be able to navigate around the screen, work with folders and files, use the taskbar and manage the mouse. 

All Microsoft Excel courses are designed to use the mouse and not the trackball facility that is available on the laptop.  Please ensure you have a mouse to use.

For Virtual Training you will need to be familiar with using Microsoft Teams Meetings, work with the Windows Taskbar, to be able to switch applications and to access files and folders in File Explorer.
