WM048 - 4-Way Plough (Hydraulic Controlled)

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

1. Identify the components and functions of a variable direction snow plough, including blade types, angling mechanisms, hydraulics, and control systems.

2. Carry out correct pre use inspections, recognising defects, wear, or safety issues, and reporting systems in place.

3. Safely mount, connect, and configure the plough to the vehicle, ensuring correct fitting, hydraulic connections.

4. Adjust the blade to multiple operating positions

5. Operate the plough safely in live conditions.

6. Follow organisational and legal requirements.
