Enhance the adults understanding of a child’s emotions, trauma and potential triggers to improve the care, support and guidance they provide.

This unique development opportunity is designed to build upon previous attachment and trauma knowledge and training.

You MUST have completed FC0089 - Introduction to Trauma Informed Care SCAYT + Day 1 before you can access this training

Objectives

• To help you understand how a vulnerable young person who has experienced trauma may be feeling.
• To help explain how the behaviour of vulnerable young people may be largely shaped by their life experiences
• To increase confidence in participants supporting vulnerable young people.

During this ground-breaking and immersive training, you will experience and understand the impact of trauma, abuse and neglect through the eyes of the child. It is designed to enhance the adults understanding of a child’s emotions, trauma and potential triggers to improve the care, support and guidance they provide.
