This training is mainly for foster carers. However, fostering team managers, supervising social workers, fostering support workers and adopters can apply.
Aim(s)
This course is designed to empower foster carers by enhancing your self-confidence and resilience, two essential qualities that help you navigate the unique challenges of fostering. It will provide practical tools and strategies, to support the foster carers, enabling you to build stronger relationships with the children in your care while managing your own emotional well-being. The course will incorporate both theoretical knowledge and real-life applications in the form of scenarios, creating a holistic approach to fostering.
