Overview

Lancashire County Council aims to provide children with the best possible opportunities to develop and flourish in their early years. To achieve this we are aiming to maximise the number of 2, 3 and 4 year old children taking up an early years funded place at a local nursery or childminder, and provide information for families about financial support that is also available for them to help reduce the cost of childcare.
