New - Developing sustainability in Primary DT

This course will focus on:
- How sustainability can be woven through the Primary DT curriculum, providing practical examples of how to do this from EYFS to Year 6
- The principles of eco-design, including considering the lifecycle of a product.
- The importance of the choice of materials and resources in DT projects
- How pupils can be taught about responsible consumption and the environmental impact of their choices.

This course explores strategies for effectively embedding sustainability within the Design and Technology curriculum. It examines practical strategies, classroom activities, and curriculum planning approaches that consider the importance of sustainable materials, responsible consumption and the environmental impact of DT topics.
