Course Aims:
- To support existing and prospective science subject leaders in developing an improvement culture across science teams of staff.
- To explore a range of implementation strategies to help drive improved standards in the delivery of secondary science education.
- To exemplify high impact quality assurance routines that provide accurate measures of the strength of science teaching.
- To ensure that science subject leaders can lead in providing consistently high standards, particularly for students who are disadvantaged and for those with special educational needs.

This course is aimed at all secondary science subject leaders, regardless of experience and also for anybody considering subject leadership or the move up from a supporting responsibility position.
