To support schools with mixed-age curriculum mapping for primary science for schools with a Y2/3 or Y4/5 class structure or more than two-year groups per class

Does your class structure cross over age phases or key stages? Do you have a class structure where lower juniors and upper juniors are in one class or where KS1 and LKS2 are together? Have you considered the best cycle to put learning in to maximise opportunities for progression? Which units need to be taught before others? How can we adapt learning for younger children and ensure appropriate progression for all? All of these questions will be answered along with an opportunity to look at a couple of options to adopt in your setting to improve outcomes for all and support teachers to plan in a manageable way. This course will focus on a 3-year and a 4-year rolling program.
