In this course we will:
- Explore the current research around diagnostic and formative assessment, including case studies
- Consider a range of strategies for prior, formative and diagnostic assessment
- Identify ways to develop the use of diagnostic assessment for maximum impact on pupil outcomes
- Consider the value of effective questioning in promoting rapid progress in learning

Please note this course runs over two sessions to allow for reflection and gap tasks.
