• To support Teaching Assistants in creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where pupils feel confident to participate and share appropriately.
• To develop understanding of the PSHE Association’s guiding principles and how these underpin high quality PSHE learning in primary classrooms.
• To build confidence in managing tricky, sensitive or unexpected questions using clear, safe and policy aligned approaches.
• To increase familiarity with school policies, procedures and expectations relating to PSHE, including updates linked to the updated 2025 statutory guidance, ensuring consistent and informed practice.

A practical session designed to help Teaching Assistants feel confident in supporting and delivering PSHE. Learn how to create to a safe environment, use guiding principles effectively and navigate tricky questions and updated policies with ease.
