- To understand the emerging direction of national curriculum and assessment changes for implementation in September 2028, and what these mean for secondary mathematics
- To begin to evaluate the implications of changes across all key stages, identifying priorities for curriculum sequencing, progression and pedagogy
- To explore practical approaches to reviewing existing schemes of learning, mapping strengths, gaps and areas likely to need adaptation
- To consider strategic planning for a successful transition, including timelines, communication with staff, and supporting teams through change
- To network with colleagues to discuss early thinking, share insights and develop a proactive approach to preparing departments
