This course will focus on:
- how sustainability can be woven through primary geography and linked to other areas of the curriculum;
- developing children's sense of place, climate literacy and their connection to the environment;
- how fieldwork studies can be linked to sustainability;
- how to use enquiry and decision-based exercises to highlight geographical issues in a range of topics including water, food production, climate and biomes;
- how books can be used to support the understanding of sustainability in geography and other areas of the curriculum.
